Outer Aisle FOODS is a distribution network of eaters, growers and makers serving Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
 Our micro-farm, Taylor Mountain Gardens in Douglas Flat (5 minutes from our store) is the primary building block that feeds the Outer Aisle FOODS retail grocery with seasonal fresh produce year round. Our farming practices are simple: We use only compost and cover crops to build fertility and grow hundreds of varieties of crops annually on less than two acres.
Outer Aisle FOODS provides the highest quality, local, seasonal and regional produce and products only from farms and producers who are committed to ecologically sustainable practices and go beyond the “Organic” requirements.
 We have created a unique distribution network that uses the CSA model. We currently service Alpine, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties year-round on a weekly basis. You can receive either weekly or bi-weekly vegetables, fruits and other great local items at a convenient drop off points close to home or work. This program is a way that you and your family can reap the benefits of eating local, seasonal, high quality fruits and vegetables and at the same time ensure that we as farmers stay int he business of growing food!
