Outer Aisle FOODS is a distribution network of eaters, growers and makers serving Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
 Taylor Mountain Gardens in Douglas Flat is the primary building block that creates the Outer Aisle FOODS distribution network. We are a micro-farm growing food for our local community through farmers market (summer time) and Outer Aisle FOODS year round. We use only compost and cover crops to build fertility and grow hundreds of varieties of crops annually on less than two acres.
Outer Aisle FOODS provides the highest quality, local, seasonal and regional produce and products only from farms and producers who are committed to ecologically sustainable practices and go beyond the “Organic” requirements.
 We have created a unique distribution network that uses the CSA model. As the network builds in size our community ties to each other and to the land are strengthened. Our ultimate goal is to provide 500 families with 50% of their food all the while providing great value, excellent service and very little waste.
