Thank you for your interest in the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program, and we welcome you to the Calaveras Youth Mentoring family! We appreciate your interest in helping the youth and future of Calaveras County.

For the past nine years, the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program has been recruiting adult mentors and matching them with local young people to provide consistent, one to one support to youth in achieving their goals and reaching their potential. The program provides ongoing training, monthly group activities, ideas and support to help build friendships that last a lifetime. This kind of one-to-one adult support has been proven, time and again, to impact and improve outcomes for young people. The program has been hugely successful and is growing.

There are many ways you can help, from volunteering to help us to raise funds or suggesting someone you know who might make a good mentor, to making the decision that mentoring a child is right for you. We encourage you to pick up the phone and call us at 209-736-6078 to find out more.

Our Mission ...
The mission of the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program is to connect Calaveras County young people in 1st through 12th grades with safe, positive adult role models who will offer support, guidance and friendship and help the youth make healthy life decisions.
